By accessing or using RaceVerdict ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RaceVerdict is a race readiness analysis platform that:

• Connects to your Strava account to analyze your training data
• Calculates a readiness score for your upcoming races
• Provides insights, predictions, and recommendations
• Offers AI-powered coaching features (Pro users)

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use RaceVerdict, you must connect your Strava account. By doing so, you:

• Confirm you are at least 16 years old
• Authorize us to access your Strava data as described in our Privacy Policy
• Agree to provide accurate information about your races

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We recommend using strong, unique passwords for your Strava account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Free Tier

RaceVerdict offers a free tier with limited features. No payment is required for free features.

4.2 Pro Subscriptions

Pro features are available through:

• Per-Race: One-time payment of $12 per race, providing Pro features for that specific race
• Annual: $49/year for unlimited races and all Pro features

4.3 Billing

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Annual subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Prices are in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes

4.4 Refunds

Per-race purchases are non-refundable once the verdict has been generated. Annual subscriptions may be refunded within 14 days of purchase if you haven't used Pro features. Contact support for refund requests.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service without permission
• Share your account or allow others to access your account
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service
• Use the Service to harm, threaten, or harass others
• Upload malicious code or content

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by RaceVerdict and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of your Strava data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to access and process your data as necessary to provide the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Warranties regarding the accuracy of predictions or recommendations

Always consult with a healthcare professional before making decisions about your training or racing, especially if you have any health concerns.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RaceVerdict and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Any loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
• Any injury or health issues related to your training or racing decisions
• Any damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the past 12 months

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RaceVerdict and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services like Strava. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse or misuse the Service

You may terminate your account at any time by disconnecting your Strava account and deleting your data from the settings page.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [Your Jurisdiction].
